Hello Everyone! I hope all of you are doing well. It has been over a year since my last blog post and I have been slacking in the worst way. I didn’t plan for it to be that way, but I have been struggling with balancing my life with endometriosis. Endometriosis can be very debilitating and can drain a lot of your physical energy during treatment. What has helped me the most mentally when it comes to dealing with this chronic illness and depression is crafting. As you know, I love creating different wreaths and garlands for all seasons, it is a form of therapy for me. These past 2 months I’ve had what I guess you can call “creators block” when it came to coming up with new designs. I’ve never had this happen before, and I was discouraged with not being able to come up with new ideas. So I turned to my faith and I tried Reiki healing for the first time to ward off all negative energy. I also had my chakras balanced, which gave me a sense of peace and tranquility. I will definitely be going back for more! If you are in the Southern California area, visit Energy Healing by Patty. Now that we have finally reached September, we are now entering my favorite time of the year, and I’m looking forward to coming up with new designs for this fall and holiday season. Recently, I created the Ultimate Autumn Fantasy Wreath which will be available to order from my website soon. It may be a bit early for some, but have you started decorating for fall yet? This year I’ve incorporated a lot of neutral tones into my décor to fit with a variety of color schemes. I just love the colors dusty rose, tan, and gold. I always add a bit of gold into all of my designs, but neutral tones allow you to be flexible and creative. I encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone when it comes to decorating your space and try using non-traditional colors with your decoration this year. Think outside the box and do something different. Different color pumpkins and gourds can add a touch of glam to your décor. I love shopping at Kirklands each year for a beautiful candelabra table centerpiece. Of course, once I get it I have to add my own touch to it by adding different color floral and my signature gold branches that I use on all of my wreaths. Do you ever buy décor from stores and then get home with it and start changing it to fit your own creative design? There’s nothing wrong with it, plus your décor should reflect your personality and aura. Where do you like to shop for Fall Décor?
