Pastels and Daylight Saving Time

Hello to all of you!

I hope you are all having an amazing day! Plus it’s Wednesday, so happy Hump Day as well. We are halfway through the week! Thank goodness, because I’m exhausted. Daylight Saving Time is not my friend. It is always difficult for me to adjust to losing an hour of sleep. Although, I will say that I enjoy having the sun around a little longer.  Are you getting prepared for spring? I love the transitional position of switching décor during the change of seasons.  It’s a reminder of something new to look forward too! Plus, we have the beautiful Easter holiday coming up. I’ve always enjoyed Easter because you get to spend quality time with family and friends. Plus all that delicious food! I also like to take the time out to renew my spirit in all I do, and it serves as a reminder that I need to stay positive and encouraging no matter the situation. Spring floral, due to its pastel colors always send a positive vibe to whatever room that it’s in. Spring floral allows for versatility and the ability to set an ambiance. Do you have certain spring colors that you like to decorate with? I love Lavender and Pink! Though, I do not combine the two together, I like them displayed separately.  Another color that I love to include with my décor no matter the season is gold! Gold is beautiful and it can go with anything. I love to use gold as an accent color or when I want to add tiny details. In most of my décor you will see gold somewhere within my design. Gold helps certain colors to standout.  A good tip to consider while making table centerpieces is to add gold sticks or branches to your design. It will make it look classy and colorful, which is always beautiful to look at! Well, I hope all of you enjoy the rest of the week and don’t forget to Decorate the Eclectic Way!
